Terms of Service
The rules for using GaelAI search, discovery, submissions, comparisons, reviews and community features.
Effective and last updated: 10 August 2026
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms govern your use of GaelAI, including its search, tool listings, guides, use-case pages, alternatives, comparisons, community features and submission workflows. By using GaelAI, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use GaelAI for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it.
2. Accounts
- Provide accurate information and keep your account details current.
- Protect your sign-in credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorised access.
- Do not transfer, sell or share an account in a way that compromises the platform.
- You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by GaelAI.
3. Tool submissions and user content
You may submit tool information, reviews and other content where those features are available. You retain ownership of your content, but grant GaelAI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, display and distribute it as needed to operate, promote and improve the platform.
You confirm that your submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the rights needed to provide its text, logos, images and links. Submission does not guarantee publication, ranking, featuring or continued availability.
4. Honest participation
- Do not submit false reviews, ratings, votes, views, identities or testimonials.
- Do not use bots, scripts, refresh loops or coordinated activity to manipulate rankings or engagement.
- Do not post unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, infringing, malicious or privacy-invasive material.
- Do not scrape, overload, reverse engineer or interfere with the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Do not bypass access controls or attempt to access another user’s account or non-public data.
5. Moderation and platform decisions
GaelAI may review, edit, classify, merge, disable, reject or remove listings and user content to maintain quality, safety and taxonomy consistency. We may suspend accounts or restrict activity that breaches these Terms or threatens the platform.
Automatic categorisation, alternative suggestions and ranking signals can be corrected by administrators. These systems are discovery aids, not guarantees or endorsements.
6. Listings, comparisons and accuracy
GaelAI presents information stored in its database and may receive that information from providers, users or public sources. Pricing, features, availability and policies can change without notice. Missing information is not a statement that a feature does or does not exist.
Comparisons, alternatives, rankings, Trending and “best for” sections are informational discovery tools. They do not constitute professional advice, a guarantee of suitability or a forced winner. Verify important details directly with the relevant provider before purchasing or relying on a tool.
7. Ratings, reviews and activity
Public engagement values are intended to reflect legitimate stored activity. We may deduplicate, exclude or remove suspicious activity. A rating or review belongs to its contributor and does not represent GaelAI’s opinion.
No user is entitled to a particular ranking, view count, rating, indexability status or position in search results.
8. External services, affiliate links and payments
GaelAI links to independently operated products and websites. We do not control their content, availability, security, pricing, subscriptions or performance. Your dealings with a third party are between you and that provider.
Some links or placements may be commercial or affiliate relationships. Where required, they will be identified. Commercial arrangements do not entitle a product to fabricated engagement or override GaelAI’s obligation to present truthful data.
9. Intellectual property
GaelAI’s original software, design, branding, editorial material and platform structure are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Product names, logos and trademarks shown in listings belong to their respective owners and are used for identification.
If you believe material on GaelAI infringes your rights, contact us with enough information to identify the work, the disputed material and your authority to act.
10. Availability and disclaimers
GaelAI is provided on an “as available” basis. We work to keep it useful and secure but do not promise uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy, permanent storage, search-engine ranking or compatibility with every device.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GaelAI disclaims implied warranties that cannot reasonably apply to a free discovery service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GaelAI is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform or a third-party product, including lost profits, data or business opportunity. Any liability that cannot be excluded will be limited only as far as applicable law permits.
You remain responsible for evaluating whether a third-party AI tool is appropriate, lawful and safe for your intended use, especially where sensitive, regulated or confidential information is involved.
12. Changes, termination and governing law
We may change or discontinue features and may update these Terms when the platform or applicable requirements change. Continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them.
You may stop using GaelAI at any time. Provisions intended to survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers and liability limits—will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
